Namrata Shirodkar has made it public, her sister Shilpa Shirodkar is among the contestants of Bigg Boss 18. The recently signed Bigg Boss contestant acts as a gateway for her to regain her entry into Bollywood that she tasted success in the early 1990s. Namrata Shirodkar and Mahesh Babu have not reacted it on official media but before stepping into Bigg Boss 18 Shilpa had said that both are genuinely excited for her.
Namrata and Mahesh are very happy for me. They are rather possessive about me, and they just expect me to go out there and get it done on my own. I am aware that I am going to make them very proud. Those values include; We are a very cleat knitted family in this generation. They are very supportive of me,” Shilpa Shirodkar said as she spoke to the Times of India in person. (

The interview emerged only a day after a story ran in India Today which alleged that Shilpa would not discuss Namrata and Mahesh. According to the publication the former Miss Universe Shilpa ‘could no longer discuss her sister Namrata Shirodkar and brother-in-law Mahesh Babu’.
Well, she relieved that she’ll have nothing to hide when she will be on the show. ‘I have no secrets and so I would not be required to be careful or worry about my image.’ He plan was to be himself and give the game the best in him, she stated this.
For the uninitiated, Shilpa began her acting career in the same year as the star of Indian cinema Salman Khan. Still, they never got a chance to work together. Some of films where she was seen included Kishen Kanhaiya, Khuda Gawah, Gopi Kishan, Bewafa Sanam and Return of Jewel Thief etc. While, Namrata has acted opposite Salman Khan in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai. Shilpa has talked about knowing Salman personally but is notfriends with him.
