There is now heightened expectation on Bigg Boss 18 ahead of its official launch with spectacle planned on October 6, 2024, with Salman Khan as the show host. Some of the contenders have been profiled even before the season’s launch, and fans are already excited.
After confirming Shilpa Shirodkar and Shehzada Dhami as two contestants of the show, makers of Bigg Boss have revealed that Chahat Pandey will also be a part of this show as third contestant.
This show makers recently released a promo and introduced the Chahat Pandey character in a mysterious way. The promo said, “Kaun aa rahi hai Bigg Boss ke ghar mein lekar apni deewani adaayen? Watch #BiggBoss18, Grand Premiere 6th October Watch Night 9 pm only on #Colors & @jiocinemaofficial.
That said, the makers have attempted to keep some element of mystery, which, thanks to the video, one sees ending in failure — for instance, the actress at the middle of the drama turns out to be Chahat Pandey, who is an actress well recognized in the Indian Television Industry.

In the promo you can hear Chahat: “Leave your mother’s house, I’m coming to my dear husband’s house.” Bigg Boss ji apka intezar rahe ga, she said that once again reiterating that she will be participating in the show shortly.

She first appeared in television in a show Pavitra Bandhan where sheportray the character of Mishti Roy Choudhary in the same year of 2016. Besides taking up acting Chahat has also tried her luck in politics. She thus associated herself with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and contested the 2023 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election in Damoh. But she failed to clinch the seat.
The new season of Bigg Boss is specifically themed on ‘Bahucharitra’, meaning ‘the past, present and the future’ and the show host Salman Khan introduced it as ‘Time Tandav’. Besides Chahat Pandey, names which have emerged are Nyrra Banerji, Muskan Bamne, Avinash Mishra and others.
Audience anticipation grows near the premiere date, so the question arises as to how these participants will behave in such a heated show, tough situations, scandalous topics, and much more inside the Bigg Boss house.
